Tuesday Trivia with Matt - Episode 169
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the second episode of Season Two of the Tuesday Trivia with Matt Fall Trivia League! We had quite a turnout this week with 17 teams playing! It was quite a treat and I thank you all for playing. Thanks to Allll Byyyy Myselffff, Hot Ass Soup, Jenison Jeniuses, Trivia Spice, and We’re Just Guessing joining the Fall League this week!
During Episode 169, several of the rounds were inspired by random celebrations happening this week, like “Talk Like a Pirate Day” and “National Queso Day”. Mmmm…. cheesy! We also spiced things up with some TV show theme songs in our audio round, almost all teams did REALLY well in that round.
Below you will find both the weekly scoreboard with all teams’ round scores and total scores for the night. Scores in pink show which round that team chose to use their Double Down. Alex gets a 100% on his live scoring this week, as I didn’t make any adjustments to scores or standings after reviewing all the answers. 💯
While we are on the topic of Alex, let’s give away this week’s “Alex Award”. Typically, Alex would choose his favorite wrong answer of the week… but his choice this week was technically a correct answer. A first for the Alex Award! During our round about “square” things, an answer was “Times Square”. One team added an unneeded apostrophe, referring to it as “Time’s Square”, as if if the square belongs to Time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And with that, we have our week two winner: Hot Ass Soup! 🍲

I’d also like to shout out Quiz Pro Quo, Three Halves of a Whole Idiot, Jeremy Bearimy, Making Good Answers, Threat Level Midday, and Trivia Spice. There was a three point spread between the teams in 4th to 9th place this week, proving that the competition is fierce!
